Election Night Celebrations

Election night celebrations for the Mark MacKenzie Campaign will be at Summerhays Grill at 1971 Baseline Rd at 9 p.m.till 12 pm. It is just east of Woodroffe on the north side of Baseline.  Call the restaurant at 613-228-6049 for further directions. We hope to see all who have had a chance to help out in the campaign, or would like to watch the results with other Green supporters.   Come out to have some fun and to join in the anticipation of what we believe will be a good night for Greens.   You can reach the campaign team at 613-852-2371 or 613-219-3132 for any reason throughout the night.

Also, Green Party candidates from the Ottawa-Gatineau region will be meeting up at Maxwell’s on Elgin Street later tonight, after their own election night parties, to watch Green Party leader, Elizabeth May’s results come in from her riding of Saanich Gulf Islands (SGI) in British Columbia.

Green Party supporters and the media are invited to join the Green Party’s local candidates and the Green Party’s National Campaign Team around 10:30 – 11:00 pm to watch—with  great anticipation—their leader make history when she is elected to the House of Commons.
